Drafting uses orthographic projection, in which the object is viewed along parallel lines that are perpendicular to the plane of the drawing. A Drafting Degree program will teach an individual on Orthographic drawings include top views, flat front and side views, and cross-sectional views showing profile. An Online Drafting Degree can be earned at top-ranked online colleges and online universities nationwide. An average starting salary with a Drafting Associates Degree is about $37,372 per year. An Associate degree and/or experience in the field may be required to earn the starting salary. |
