Associate in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology

Broadview University’s two-year associate degree in veterinary technology will prepare you to serve the animals who give us so much. You will work closely with animals throughout the program, learning from experienced vet techs and veterinarians.

About the vet tech degree program

  • Work with lab and rescue animals throughout the program.
  • Get training in veterinary office procedures, medical terminology, lab animal care, radiology, surgical assisting and other veterinary clinic skills.
  • Take general education courses in social sciences, natural sciences, mathematics and the humanities.
  • Participate in a supervised off-site externship to practice the skills you learn in the classroom.
