Nursing Generalist-BS

The Bachelor of Science Nurse Generalist Program is a comprehensive eight semester program designed to promote the development of professional nurses who will meet the changing needs of clients. These nurses will address the increasing needs of persons trained for complex client care in all healthcare settings and who are prepared to address particular needs in genomics, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases, illnesses and conditions. These needs that are influencing the nursing role changes are reflected in scientific advances, changing population demographics, technologic explosion, and increasing needs to better access health care and healthcare information (AACN, 2008).
