MS - School Psychology

This specialization stresses respect for individual differences, collaborative problem solving, and empirically-based interventions, and is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).  The program requires rigorous online course work, year-in-residence and field training experiences. Successful graduates of this program often pursue school psychologist, diagnostician, crisis specialist or program specialist positions in an educational setting.

With this specialization, you will learn how to: Collaborate to find effective solutions to learning and behavior concerns; evaluate students on all dimensions of development; apply data and evidence to analyze challenges; provide psychological intervention; create programs that promote healthy learning environments.
