Medical coding professionals are responsible for a range of tasks associated with generating and managing records for all billable activities that take place in both professional and hospital health care facilities. A biller will also be able to review medical documents and capture all charges that the provider indicated on his/her progress note. They will also be able to appeal denied claims/charges, and understand the concept of what is classified as billing and coding.
