Aesthetics Skincare

The Aesthetics Skincare program provides students with hands-on training in the clinical approach to skin care and includes training in the areas of make up and color analysis, mask and spa therapies, hair removal, enzyme treatments and body wrapping. Students are introduced to product protocols and will learn the principles of effective retailing and general business development as it relates to the practice of the skincare profession. Graduates from the program will demonstrate a basic and advanced understanding of the structure and function of the skin and how to apply skin care treatments through the effective utilization of product and equipment protocols. Graduates will be qualified for entry-level employment as an Esthetician or facial specialist with training critical for employment opportunities in the travel industry, cruse ships, resort spas and medical facilities. The graduate can demonstrate communication and employability skills and can apply professional and appropriate ethics to all areas of the job.
