Allied Health Management

Medical Assistant Allied Health Managers work in doctors' offices, clinics, hospitals and pharmacies. While managing and supervising the facility is their primary responsibility, their duties may also include typing, filing, handling telephone calls and appointments, maintaining patient records, filling prescriptions, and office care.

Students earning an allied health degree at our Mobile, Alabama location receive training that prepares them for entry-level employment as a Medical Assistant with a goal of advancing into supervisory and management level positions within the allied health community.

Medical Office Specialist Allied Health Managers work in doctors' offices, clinics, hospitals and pharmacies. While health management degree graduates focus on managing and supervising the facility as their primary responsibility, their duties may also include typing, filing, handling telephone calls and appointments, maintaining patient records, filling prescriptions, and office care.
