Construction Management

FORTIS' construction management program is designed to prepare the student for an entry level position in building construction with an emphasis on construction management. This course will cover such topics as safety OSHA regulations, framing, concrete construction, masonry, interior and exterior finishes, blueprint reading, math for the building trades, estimating, remodeling, site preparation and computer home design. This course will also include classes in business such as small business management, accounting, and technical writing. These courses are designed to give the student the knowledge of building residential and small commercial buildings and the management skills to succeed.
