Cosmetology Education

The Cosmetology program prepares students to become professional cosmetologists, capable of pursuing careers as cosmetology professionals, working in a variety of styling salon environments or operating private cosmetology businesses. Students learn cosmetology by studying and practicing techniques in a wide range of cosmetology modalities, including haircutting, creative hair styling, coloring, modern nail technology, skin care, chemistry, facials, and salon management. A list of textbooks utilized in this training program is available upon request. Throughout the course of training students perform in a supervised Student Salon Clinic, during which they participate in and perform actual cosmetology services with clients from the general public.
