ECG/Phlebotomy/Lab Assistant
Working in a hospital, physician’s office or medical laboratory can be exciting work. Graduates of the ECG/Phlebotomy/Lab Assistant program at Fortis Institute are prepared for the challenge. Students are taught firsthand the skills necessary to assist physicians with patient care. Graduates learn to operate ECG machines to obtain 12 lead ECG tracings, draw blood and other bodily fluids for lab work and perform necessary tests to help with patient diagnosis and treatment.
