Health Information Management

The Health Information Management (HIM) at Fortis College provides students with the theory and practice specific to the field of HIM. The program consists of courses, labs, and clinical experiences that cover basic HIM concepts, as well as the basic and general education courses needed for students to earn an associate degree. Teaching methods for the course may include lecture, discussion, student presentation, simulation, audiovisuals, and computer programs.
