Microsoft Network Technology
The Microsoft Network Technology program at FORTIS is designed to provide you with real world job skills, including both Windows 7 client and Windows 2008 Server environments, and to get you ready to earn at least one industry recognized Microsoft Certification. The procedures and lab techniques include: troubleshooting both physical and logical problems, work as part of a team to accomplish common goals, researching solutions for technical issues, installing, upgrading, and configuring both hardware and software. Students are evaluated in all areas of professional development including applicable spelling, terminology, theory and performance skills, as well as customer interaction. Upon completion of the program students will be qualified to assume entry-level positions as a computer support specialist or LAN administrator for an IT department in any industry worldwide. |
