Vocational Nursing

Institute of Technology can prepare students with the skills they need to enter the medical field as a Vocational Nurse. Our program is designed to give you the knowledge and training to be successful as an entry-level VN/PN in most healthcare settings. Successful completion of our program can qualify you to take your state NCLEX-PN licensure exam.

Through our core courses, you can gain a solid foundation in English, mathematics and biology. In addition to these fundamental classes, you can learn how to care for patients in a laboratory setting. Our hands-on training can give you the opportunity to experience the actual demands of the career before graduation. This preparation can give you confidence and a greater understanding of how to perform your job in the real world.
