HVAC

Train for a great career in HVAC/R!

This program offers training in all phases of repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. All courses are largely taught through hands-on experience in fully functional labs – ranging from residential to light commercial to industrial equipment and applications. Upon completion of the program, you will have earned certification in the following:

North American Technician Excellence (NATE)
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

As with all programs we offer, the HVAC/R program includes an externship. An externship is a program that assigns a student to a partnering company for 135 hours, giving the student the opportunity to put his/her new skills to use and gain real-life career training experience. ICT/ILS is one of the few schools that offer this as part of a student’s training in every program of study.

Excellent employment opportunities exist for HVAC/R technicians or maintenance technicians and is a field in which well-qualified technicians will always be in demand.
