Medical Records and Health Information Administrative Specialists perform a variety of duties. Included in these duties is the assembling of patient’s health information including medical history, examination results, diagnostic tests, treatment methods and other health carte services. The Office Administrative Specialist is increasingly called on to use electronic health records systems. These systems cover a variety of services such as appointment scheduling, diagnostic test scheduling and billing and accounting services.
