Immersion MBA
Immersion MBA for Aspiring Leaders (Part-time, Online MBA) The average iMBA student has 1-4 years of professional work experience or is looking to change from a non-business career, such as military or healthcare services, to a career in a more traditional business setting. Students who choose the iMBA are looking to gain the experience as well as the knowledge they need to be successful as they aspire to the next stage in their professional careers. As an iMBA student, you be immersed in simulated workplace scenarios in a variety of departments such as marketing, human resources and finance, where you will take on different responsibilities and projects along the way. Throughout your rotation among these departments, you will not only learn business theory, but the ability to apply it to the virtual company as well as your own workplace. In addition to your experience working in the virtual company, 25% of your time in the iMBA consists of group projects, assignments and discussion communities with your fellow students and faculty, where your learning gets deepened and applied. iMBA students take 12 core courses to earn their degree in as few as 22 months. The iMBA program also includes additional components, such as career assessments and guidance, e-portfolios, and group projects to enhance the application of your education. All iMBA students are offered a business-leader mentor to guide them along the way.
