Dental Hygiene

Lincoln College of New England’s Dental Hygiene Program prepares you to function effectively as an integral member of the dental health team providing a wide range of oral health services. You will be educated for a challenging career in a growth profession dedicated to the prevention and detection of most diseases of the mouth.

This intensive program will develop your competence in oral pathology, clinical procedures, prophylactic techniques, and dental radiology. You will also be prepared to provide preventive dental services, oral health education and nutrition counseling. You can choose to work in private dental hygiene and dental offices; managed care organizations; federal, state and municipal health facilities; long term care facilities; nursing homes; and schools.
