Our Dental Assisting Diploma Program(3) provides training in the skills and knowledge that may help you qualify for an entry-level position as a dental assistant.(1) Just as professional dental assistants may enjoy a wide variety of day-to-day functions, the eight modules of our Dental Assisting program cover topics like oral anatomy, oral radiology as well as other specific dental procedures and topics. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that employment for dental assistants will grow by 31% from 2010 to 2020, much faster than the average of all occupations(2), thanks to population growth, rising emphasis on dental care, and the increasingly important role dental assistants play.
