Mission/Purpose The South College Department of Business Administration is committed to providing students with practical programs of study and stimulating classroom experiences that lead to the development of business and analytical skills necessary for graduates to succeed in today’s ever-changing business environment. The Bachelor of Business Administration program prepares students to enter the continually evolving world of business, government, and industry. Building on a foundation of general education in areas such as oral and written communication, mathematical reasoning, and social science, the business foundation and upper division courses expose students to the realms of accounting, management, finance, economics, and marketing. Students choosing the accounting concentration gain knowledge and training necessary to become entry level accountants for small businesses, large corporations, and CPA firms providing accurate, timely, and relevant financial information needed in today’s business environment. |
