Business Administration/Accounting

This program is unique in that it offers a broad range of contemporary accounting and business experiences. Students receive instruction in the basic principles of accounting, followed by seven specialty areas. As the field of accounting has become computerized, each course includes training in accounting software such as QuickBooks, TurboTax, and PeachTree for example. In order to ensure that students understand general business principles business courses are incorporated into the curriculum. All students are offered the opportunity to receive training in the entire Microsoft Office suite, thus enabling them to be fully functional in a broad range of jobs.

To round out the educational experience and prepare students to be successful on and off the job, general communication and social science courses are integrated into the curriculum.
