The Medical Assisting program aims to equip students with the necessary versatility to meet the demands of contemporary healthcare delivery. From clinical and lab procedures to terminology and office practices, the program is designed to give students the flexibility to skillfully tackle responsibilities, both general and specific, that are germane to the healthcare arena. The program culminates with an externship, further readying the student to contribute to a medical office environment. Medical Assisting students will exit the program with a thorough knowledge of the equipment, processes, terminology, ethics and laws involved in medical practices.
