The Master of Arts in Worship Studies program is designed to equip worship leaders to better serve the church as skilled, passionate leaders of worship. This specialized program allows students to study and practice context-specific biblical and theological competencies in worship. Students are equipped to meet the needs of today’s post-modern culture. Worship theories are made practical to the local church as students receive comprehensive training in qualitative and quantitative research methods. Worship students are taught to minister in a variety of evangelical worship cultures with skill and expertise. In addition to courses taught by a highly skilled and experienced resident faculty, many courses are taught by partner faculty drawn from top Christian leaders in worship music, songwriting and arranging. A thesis is required.
