Massage Therapy - Diploma
Have you ever considered becoming a massage therapist in Pennsylvania? McCann’s Pennsylvania massage therapy certification program provides classroom training for those wanting an entry-level career as a professional massage therapist in Pennsylvania. Students participating in McCann’s Dickson City massage therapist program, Pottsville massage therapist program, Hazleton massage therapist program, and Sunbury massage therapist program, will develop the educational knowledge necessary to develop massage protocol and perform an extensive therapeutic massage with focus on whole body wellness. Graduates of our PA massage therapy schools are eligible to sit for the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Massage therapy can either be a full-time career or a secondary source of income. Most Pennsylvania massage therapists are self-employed. They typically own a business of their own or work on an independent contractor basis. Many graduates of McCann’s Pennsylvania massage therapy program have also found employment at the offices of chiropractors and doctors; health and beauty salons and spas; nursing homes; fitness and recreational centers; and hotels. With over 80 various types of massage, ranging from deep tissue massage, reflexology, acupressure, sports massage and neuromuscular massage, training at our PA massage therapy schools will cover all approaches to massage therapy. Our professional massage therapy associate’s degree training also includes spa therapy coursework. |
