Pharmacy Technician Pharmacy Technicians play an important role in helping people live healthier, happier, and more productive lives. American National University’s pharmacy technician diploma program is designed to provide you with knowledge, laboratory skills, and field experience to prepare you for entry-level a position as a pharmacy technician. Upon completing the pharmacy technician diploma program you will be prepared to sit for the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) exam offered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). In addition to serving as a strong foundation for pursuing an associate’s degree in medical assisting, this diploma program is designed to give you the skills and techniques needed for entry-level employment in a pharmacy at a retail or healthcare facility as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy aide.
