More than 30 percent of ASU's freshmen graduate in the top 10 percent of their high school class and 57 percent in the top 25 percent. ASU ranks among the top in the nation in student entrepreneurs and one of the top 10 producers of Fulbright Scholars in the U.S. ASU is also home to 612 National Merit Scholars and 324 National Hispanic Scholars. Since 2003, ASU has increased the number of high-level faculty members and experts on campus with the addition of 156 new award recipients, fellows or academy members, which include three Nobel laureates, 11 National Academy of Sciences members, eight American Academy of Arts and Sciences members, 91 Fulbright American Scholars, 25 Guggenheim Fellows and two members of the Royal Society.

Annual college rankings by U.S. News and World Report placed ASU's undergraduate engineering programs in the top 10 percent of all undergraduate engineering programs in the nation. Business, education, public affairs, design and arts programs at ASU were rated in the top 25 percent.
