Individuals who wish to make a career change in the coming years have many options to improve their educational qualifications and land a job in a fast-growing field, such as healthcare. In an effort to encourage current and prospective professionals in this industry to gain the training that can boost their careers, many healthcare providers are partnering with campus-based and online schools to give their employees better access to higher education.

Working adults who have been out of school for a long period of time may worry that their capacities for learning are not as large as they once were. Consequently, many health organizations are enabling their employees to take work-based classes that can prepare them for a full- or part-time degree program.

The National Association of Community Health Centers recently recognized four healthcare providers located across the country for similar efforts that are intended to educate members of their workforce. These organizations collaborated with local schools to offer work-based classes, for which enrollees can earn credits that can be put toward associates degree programs.

These programs aim to serve some of the most high-demand career fields in the healthcare industry, including nursing assistance, reception and medical recording.
