A North Carolina-based school recently announced that it will launch an online business degree program in the fall of 2011.

The Technician reports that the institution has installed new equipment on campus in order to record lectures, which will later be used to supplement online business courses. A total of 15 faculty members will deliver instruction for this program, which consists of 45 required credit hours. Scholars should expect to complete their online master's degree education in two years.

While the web-based courses will be the same as those offered in the school's traditional MBA program, the distance learning business degree will provide individuals with more flexibility in their class schedules. According to the news provider, the online model is designed for professionals who already have jobs, people who have domestic commitments as well as military and international students.

At the core of the digital curriculum is a focus on technology. The online business management courses are designed to help entrepreneurs evaluate, develop and pursue emerging technologies, as well as instilling leadership skills in a global marketplace.
