Just as many schools are beginning to offer their college programs online, several companies are beginning to create virtual offices. As a result, individuals who have completed a web-based degree program may be more likely to land a job with one of these innovative organizations.

TrainingPros, a human resources service provider, recently hired a new relationship manager for its online office in Columbus, Ohio. This position entails developing customized education and training programs for workers and their employers. These initiatives address topics such as management, customer service, conflict resolution and team building.

Similar programs could enable companies to improve their performance, efficiency and employee retention. As a result, the demand for individuals who can develop this type of training is expected to increase.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, nearly 185,000 new positions for human resources, training and labor relations specialists will be created over the next eight years. Applicants who have earned a campus-based or online college degree in conflict management may be likely to land one of these jobs.
