The internet may provide a wealth of opportunity and knowledge to those who utilize its features, but the vast expanse of its presence also needs to be closely monitored to ensure users are staying within federal regulations. Recently, the U.S. and India signed a collaboration agreement to work together more fluidly on managing the global internet industry.

Government officials from both countries have streamlined their programs that focus on supervision of the internet, as well as development of new methods for cyber security.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by India and the U.S., which will make it simpler for the countries to gather information from each other to investigate security issues in a timelier manner.

A couple big organizations that will benefit from this pact are the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) and the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT).

Those who hope to begin or continue a career focused on web security may benefit from a cyber crime degree through college programs online at an accredited institution, which could provide additional opportunities for occupations in international internet protection.
